Frequently asked questions

I’m new to yoga, barre, and/or pilates. Is The Membership suitable for me?

It all depends on your level of fitness. It you are active and have a good sense of mobility, then certainly! This program is accessible for those new to the style of movement and you always should honor how your body is feeling in any given day. The diversity of classes and the shorter sections mean you can customize your experience for how hard you want to work. However, if you are injured or are coming back from an extended period away from being active, you may find the majority of the 30min Core Classics classes to be too strong for you even in the modifications. Despite their shorter length, these classes are intended to be a challenge!

What do I need to get started?

MEMBERSHIP While you could do all the workouts without any props - just a towel to cushion the spine and a wall or edge of furniture for when we do our Barre work, I find it best to get what you need to optimize your time. Find a yoga mat, an inflatable barre/pilates ball, a resistance band set from medium to extra-heavy, and light weights 2-3lbs or 1kg. If you are traveling, take the ball and band with you and find canned food for weights! You could use 2kgs for all these exercises but I would recommend starting with 1kg and working your way up. Same with the resistance band. Start medium and work your way up to intensify your burn! 7 DAY DETOX The most important thing you need is a positive can-do attitude and committed mindset. If you plan to juice and prepare your own food, then having a cold-pressed slow juicer is ideal, a large kitchen knife and cutting board, a blender if you choose to have smoothies, and other basic kitchen supplies and ingredients you will find in the provided Shopping Lists and daily Schedules. I find this is a great time to hone in on your skills sourcing quality ingredients and prepping food in the kitchen as one of the leading reasons people don't cook for themselves is not having knife skills or taking the time to find reliable organic sources of vegetables! Believe it! You too will need yoga supplies such as a mat and either two cushions or two blocks and a pillow.

What is your refund policy on The Membership and the programs?

For the Membership, I offer a free 7-day trial so you can get a feel for the program, my teaching style, and to see if you are ready to make the commitment to your own strength and wellbeing. The 7 Day Detox is filled with content that I know will help you immensely. Due to the nature of its format, being a virtual 7 day retreat experience, it is really hard to offer refunds once the access is granted. Any questions or confusions, simply email me

I have pre-existing medical conditions that make me nervous to restrict my diet in this time. Is the 7 Day Detox worth it for me?

It all depends! Usually we come to detox when our bodies are screaming out to us to make a change. Your body knows what it needs. I am not a registered ND nor a physician and so you must enter into any detox or workout program with the understanding that you are responsible for your own wellbeing. You may also purchase the program, immerse yourself in the practices and protocols to get you on-boarded, then take the leap to fasting when the time is right for you. I want you to feel empowered to make the right decisions for you. I can only help support those who can make that commitment to their wellbeing ;)

I am actively working on recalibrating or balancing my hormones and wonder when is the best time of the month to begin the 7 Day Detox.

When will The Core Group and Private Coaching launch? What are the terms for refunds?

The Core Group and Private Coaching will begin sometime in the second quarter of 2021, between April and May. Since launching The Membership and offering The Core in Live donation-based classes is only beginning in Jan 2021, I think it is important for students to become more familiar with the movement before diving deeper. The Core is both an on-demand and live group training program and there are no refunds after the program begins. Similarly, to begin the Mentorship, you will need to pay for the sessions ahead of time to show your level of commitment to the work. If you’ve purchased the group plan and cannot join us due to your schedule, you have up to 30-days within the window of time purchased to obtain a refund or you may simply choose to join the group at a later time.
